Because we feel that we offer the highest quality products at the best prices, and we inspect and pack all of our orders with care, we think you'll be extremely satisfied. There are times when items are damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped. If this happens, we'll gladly replace them.

     1. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be obtained before a return item will be accepted. Please email info@bigtreebooks.com for this number. Give us a description of the product and the problem.

     2. Any defective, incorrect or damaged item may be returned within 30 days of receipt via U.S. Postal Service (preferably by Media Mail, if qualified). We will gladly ship a replacement and reimburse you for your return postage.

     3. Any item you are not satisfied with (not as expected, arrived too late, etc) if returned within 30 days of receipt and received in salable condition, will be issued an exchange or refund or merchandise cost only.

     4. Videos, CD's cassettes, DVD's or other media may only be returned for refund if UNOPENED. If opened they may be returned only for replacement with the same item.

     5. Any return item that does not comply with our above stated policy will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

• $5.75 for the first book includes 75 cents which allows you to track your order online.
• $1.25 for each additional book or item
• Delivery time varies depending on location. Normally 7 to 10 days.
• (Continental 48 states rates..Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Territories may have additional sur-charges.)
• The Shipping Rates quoted will cover most books, however some genealogy books are very heavy.  We have attempted to mark the oversize or heavy books but due to publishers databases we use, not all will be marked.   The shipping cost on oversize or heavy books will be $3.00 plus actual shipping cost

If you live in the state of Missouri, or the order is shipped to Missouri, the current state sales tax will be included in the cost of your order. If ordering from, and shipped to another state, you are exempt from the state sales tax.
