cd: acadian genealogy and notes
The culmination of many years of research into the history and the genealogy of the Acadian people. Gaudt, a Canadian archivist, performed research not only in Canada but the US and France as well and then published his results here. The Acadian exile to the American colonies is given a major portion of the book as well as some family genealogies. There is much primary source material included and in the original language. Some documents are in French by the majority is in English. Originally published in 1905.
