| Professor Werner Hacker, a retired German judge, recognized the need for the compilation and documentation of emigration records from Southwest Germany. Over the course of 24 years (1963 to 1987) he was able to compile and document the records of approximately 65,000 emigrants using immigration data, tax records, bondage release paper, bills, etc. Over 30,000 emigrants from Southwest Germany. Lists name, birth year, place of origin, emigration date, profession, destination, and source of information. Covers todays areas of Rhine-Palatinate, Saarland, and Baden-Wuerttemberg.
